About
About me:
Mike Megally
Los Angeles, CA
I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor’s degree is Computer Science in May 2006. Currently working as a software engineer for a web technologies company. In my space time, I try to come up with different types of projects to partake in to keep my brain fresh. Not only do I try to come up with those projects, but actually start AND finish them. The starting typically happens, however the finishing is pretty rare. My interests are in linguistics, operating system design, distributed programming, and typical client/server applications (note: this list will probably change as time goes on). Languages of choice are C, Java, x86 assembly and C#. I hear rumors of Python being pretty awesome, but I have yet to sit down with it.
About this Blog:
My main focus of this blog was to talk about developments I’ve made while working on projects. The main idea here is that, if I believe someone is keeping tabs on my projects, I’d have more drive to finish a projects that I’ve started, rather than start it and never finish it. I still do believe that, at some point when I begin another project, this will serve as the update spot of my projects. However it has quickly become a general computer/computer science blog as well. I am not too sure if trend will continue as I start and blog about projects, but as for now I am pretty happy with it. Maybe if people [ever] start reading my blog, they may have some comments about it.
